Call for Papers: Academic track at Archipelacon October 24, 2014

Press accreditation

Because of the small size of the event and the expected number of attendees, Archipelacon is restrictive with issuing press accreditation.

Accreditation entails free entrance, a press pass, and a programme book. More or the less the whole convention is open to all attendees, press and members alike. Any interviews with participants or speakers is between you and them. However, anyone wishing to interview one of our five guests of honour must proceed through our press officer.

If you wish to apply for press accreditation or desire an interview with one of our guests, please contact us at press@archipelacon.org.

Hello! I was wondering if someone could help me identify a certain book. In his presentation (When the map is the world, on Saturnday) Stefan Ekman talked about a map which had legends for various types of forests but only one legend for roads - which don't even appear on the map. I found the map very interesting and therefore also the book, but now, a week later, I can't seem to find the name of that book in my notes. So, is anyone more knowledgeable than I am?

Archipelacon's Guests of Honour visit to the Åland Maritime Museum also included a dinner inside the museum ship Pommern. During the dinner photographer Henry Söderlund took portraits of all the GoHs and some of the other participants.
